
The UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) presents a report titled "Foreign Direct Investment in Latin America and the Caribbean 2019" in Santiago, Chile, Aug. 14, 2019. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Latin America and the Caribbean increased by 13.2 percent year on year in 2018, totaling 184.287 billion U.S. dollars and putting an end to five years of declines, a UN agency said on Wednesday.
